JESUS THE WAY

Abba Father, we are surrounded by so many well-meaning and good people, who qualify to be the disciples of Your Son Jesus, by the way they live. The only sad and hurting part is that they do not know the One True God and Jesus our Savior.
They worship idols made of clay and metal, that cannot help themselves nor protect themselves and have to be insured for the valuables that they are adorned with. Some have made all the material goods,wealth and pleasures of this world into the idols they cling to. Many of them are generous, charitable, kind and giving but worship the Creation and not the Creator. How can we make Jesus the Living Son of our Living God the Creator of all, known to them ?
Heavenly Father, Hallowed be Thy Name, we pray that You will touch the hearts and minds of many of these educated people, to hunger for our One True God, the Creator and  Lord of heaven and earth, and draw them in search of You.
We pray that many of us, who follow You and Jesus Your Son, may be blessed and empowered by the Power of Your Holy Spirit, to bring the Good News of the Kingdom of God to them, so as to increase the number that may not be lost. 
We make this prayer in the Holy Name of Jesus, Amen!

"PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME"
The Ministry of Intercession is the Lighthouse Ministry of the Church.
It is also known as the Backbone Ministry or the Backstage Ministry.
The Church cannot be a Healthy and Holy Church nor can any Prayer Group, without the Recharging power of prayer.
There is No glamour or spotlight like all the other ministries of the Church in this Ministry.
Yet, the intercessors at the back of the stage, armed with the  power of prayer, can influence the one's who are in front of the stage, to receive what is being delivered from the stage, by invoking the Power of the Holy Spirit on the one who is on the stage and for the message, healing, anointing to flow to the ones in front of the stage. Got it?
This is just one aspect of Prayer and effect we observe, of what is accomplished by this vehicle of the Holy Spirit.
Now we are made aware that the qualities required to be a good intercessor are tantamount to being in the company of Saints.
It's a 24x7 Ministry that we can operate at any time, at any place, in any situation with miraculous results continuously changing wrong into Right, bad to Good, sickness to Health, war to Peace, enemies to Friends, sinners to Saints, saving lives and saving Souls in any part of the country or the world .
This Ministry has been gifted to us by our Divine Guru,  none other than The LORD JESUS, Who has also gifted us His Mother to be our Mother and considered to be the Queen of Intercessors.

From midnight onwards 13 October is dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima and a good beginning can be made by those who desire to be in the quest to lead Holy lives as Intercessors by praying 'The Fatima Prayer' handed to us by our Queen, a small beginning in intercession,     " O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy Mercy."

THE SIGN OF THE CROSS

"Praise His Holy Name!"

( 1JN 3:1 ) "See what love the Father has given us that we should be called the children of God; and that is what we are."

Has the Sign of the Cross become just an empty ritual in my life?  Do I realise that it is actually one of the deepest of prayers in which I declare my own participation in the life of the Trinity through the Cross of Jesus Christ?

Pray, "In the NAME of the FATHER and of the SON and of the HOLY SPIRIT, Amen! "
(Repeat three times, meaningfully and with pauses, considering your deep and personal relationship with our Triune God.)

WORLD PEACE

"Praise His Holy Name!"

( John 14:27)

" Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid."

Our world is being tossed in the storm of unrest, hatred and vendetta. We see nations, terrorists, communities and families trapped by the spirit of hatred and revenge. We see people not at Peace within themselves, trying to destroy the Peace around them , for reasons only they know.

On the other hand as disciples of Jesus, we see Jesus hanging on the Cross at Calvary begging," Father forgive them for they know not what they do."

Let this be our prayer too, as we echo these Loving, Forgiving, Merciful words uttered in great anguish for the Salvation of the whole world.

Let's pray to the Prince of Peace and beg Him, to send down His Peace, to recapture the hearts of those captured by the powers of darkness. May the Light of the Risen Lord, shine brightly as a beacon of Hope, in this troubled world.In Jesus'Name.Amen!

TAKE CONTROL

Praise His Holy Name


Be the Master of your fate and the Servant of your soul.
God has given us a core mission, that is to be a Faithful Servant for  His Kingdom.
To implement God's command, we have to follow a strategy of staying focussed on our core mission, to love the Lord  and serve His people.

The first step is to capture our thoughts. If we try thinking of nothing for just a few minutes, we'll see that we are always thinking.
Good thoughts, bad thoughts and indifferent thoughts are continuously rolling in and out of our minds.
We have to learn the art of noticing the errant thoughts that take us off course; like doubting God, fear, our appetites, selfish ambitions, judgements of others, and even of condemning ourselves.
Whenever we catch a stray thought, our job is to examine it. Is it true? Is it aligned with God's plan? Does this thought make us anxious or does it bring us Peace?.
We have to bring this thought into  obedience to Christ and His teaching. We have to ask the Holy  Spirit to help us get free of it's influence. If we keep on focussing on what we know is true, we'll observe that this thought gradually withers and dies away.

Pray: Holy Spirit of God,the Love between the Father and the Son, as I remain still in Your Holy Presence, take control of my thoughts, my words, my emotions and all my actions. Help me to walk the path that my Father desires, talk the talk His Beloved Son my Jesus approves of, and to be guided by Your ever-faithful promptings in leading a Holy life worthy of my Triune God.
O Lord of Love, Power, Mercy and Grace, Bless me and my family abundantly. Fill us with Your heavenly fragrance, so that we may be a Blessing to everyone who we encounter. In Jesus' Name.Amen!

Love Your Enemies

"Praise His Holy Name!"
(Mt 5:44) "But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, "
True love has no limits. This kind of love is self -giving and does not count the cost; hence this love is generous even to those from whom no reward is expected. It is true we need to have great love for those, who helped us or are close to us, such as our parents, well-wishers and friends. But Love itself is something far broader, and it reaches out to the whole of humanity. It's like the sun's rays or the rainfall. No pick and choose. As Christians, let us aim for this higher form of love, by which we always seek to help those who will not repay us or who may even reject or despise us.
This is the only way one can be like Jesus.

Being Holy

As Christians we are caught in either of the two syndromes of Pharisee or Publican.
Throughout the New Testament, we find Jesus taking on the Pharisees who He found were obstacles to His ministry. He called them white washed tombs, cups clean outside and dirty inside and always spending time, doing the right things in the wrong way.They were giving alms for publicity, praying for prominence and fasting so all may know their piety. They were rather promoting themselves than God, and wanted to be seen and win accolades from human beings. On the contrary Jesus teaches us differently. He challenges us to have a relationship with the Father and to do everything in secret. He tells us that the Father Who see's everything in secret will reward us. All our good thoughts and deeds should be an offering to Him to the point where it does not make a difference if people do not find out about them. We are not after one foot Oscars statuettes, we are planning for Eternity and Jesus is the Only Way, the Truth and the Light.
Who could do justice to Jesus' teaching more than Saul, the Great Pharisee and later the greatest labourer for God's vineyard for all time..
Wish You Jesus, Remain in Him and He will remain in You.

Your Master's Voice

( JOHN 10:27-28 )
"My sheep hear My Voice. I know them, and they follow Me. I give them Eternal Life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of My Hand."

What is Jesus implying with this statement? Ponder and sleep over this question.
I'm absolutely sure that you will receive the answer in some mode,that only God uses.
God's Word never returns back to His hearing without bearing fruit.
Go ahead, trust Him, Jesus Loves you very,very much, more than anything you have ever experienced.

Prayer For Senior Citizens

We pray for all senior citizens, bravely battling the difficulties of modern living. We pray for their physical, spiritual, mental and emotional well-being. We ask the Lord Jesus, to pour out His Precious Blood on these, His vulnerable ones; and to fill them with His Holy Spirit, empowering them to live their twilight years in Peace, Joy, Harmony and the Love of the Lord.

In Jesus'Name.Amen!

Thank You,LORD,for this awesome promise that that You have made to us.On this First Friday of this year 2014 we claim Your promise O God! as we unite our hearts with the most Holy Sacred Heart of Jesus and offer our  lives to You as a living sacrifice through the Eucharistic Body and Blood of Your Beloved Son in  whom You are well pleased.
Lord God,heavenly Father we are absolutely sure in our hearts  that You cannot refuse this offering and look forward to this year with great Hope and expectations.
We also Thank You, Father, for the gift of Pope Francis to the Church who inspired by Your Holy Spirit is bringing a breath of freshness and Holiness into every nook and corner of our fragmented world with Your message of Peace and Love.

PRAYER BEFORE THE CRUCIFIX

JESUS LORD,as we look at You our Crucified King,we too want to be moulded into children of God.
Our lives would have no consequence on this earth if we cannot offer it as You did.Speak to our hearts the word of strength that we might rise to live for Your glory.
May not the false and easy offers of this world deceive us into evil.We offer our relationships and communities, our works and words,our motivations and strength at the foot of Your Cross.
In the dark hour of trial,and in the Calvary of our lives may we witness to You by holding firm to what is right and gracious.
We Bless and adore You, Christ our Lord and King of Peace.Amen.  

We pray for women all over the world especially those living in less civilized nations that the love of Jesus our Savior may touch their lives and bring them freedom from want,freedom from disease,freedom from illiteracy,freedom to live a life of equality with men as an equal partner in raising their families and thus glorifying God our creator who meant it to be so.

HEALING PRAYER AT BEDTIME

(When you pray this prayer,Our Lord gently and gradually removes layers of emotional scar tissues while we sleep,allowing us to be happier people.Each night we pray it,we are making a deposit in an account with fantastic dividends.)

In Your wonderful name,JESUS,I ask you to heal me in mind,soul and body.

Every hurt that has been done to me-heal that hurt.Every hurt that I have ever caused to another person-heal that hurt.

All the relationships that have been damaged in my whole life, that I am not aware of-heal those relationships.

But LORD, if there is anything that I need to do-if I need to go to a person because he/she is still suffering from my hand, bring to my awareness that person.I choose to forgive, and I ask to be forgiven.Remove whatever bitterness may be in my heart LORD, and fill the empty spaces with Your Love.

A Prayer for Help against Sin ( Sirach23:1-6)

"O LORD,my Father and Master of my life,do not leave me at the mercy of my own words;don't let them cause my downfall. I wish I could be whipped for my thoughts; so that Wisdom could discipline my mind. I would not want to be spared when I am wrong; I would not want a single sin to be overlooked! Then I would not keep on sinning, making one mistake after another. I could not fall to my enemies and be humiliated by them.

O LORD, my Father, GOD of my life, keep me from being arrogant; protect me from evil desires. Keep me from being overcome by greed or lust; do not leave me at the mercy of these shameless passions."           

Moment of Bliss

There is a small incident which I would like to share with you.
While I was commuting to town by road I came across a Message board put up by a school which said:"Money cannot buy you Happiness but only The Illusion"and I thought how true it is.
One may have everything one needs or gets by the world's standards of happiness BUT there will always be a vacuum inside of you craving for that something to fill it and hence one goes throughout  life in search of it.
When you experience that brief fleeting moment of finding what you were searching for it is sheer BLISS. You have encountered God.

What's your Brand? Adidas, Reebok, Nike. Jimmy Choo, Vutton, Raybans,Lees etc.? Good for you.
I use Brand JESUS.The ultimate brand,2k years old, conceived by the Creator and Original Brand Maker, since the begining of all creation.
This Brand can never go out of fashion.It was,it is,and will always be.It guarantees the user absolute Peace of mind,absolute Joy,absolute Fidelity in your relationship.
The light of this Brand burns so brightly that all darkness vanishes in it's presence.
All good Brands have a shelf life of 10 years, 50 years,maybe 100 years,but,Brand Jesus is forever.
Brand Jesus is not old fashion nor the fashion of the future.It is the fashion of NOW. With Jesus you'll always be in.
Our ancestors who used this Brand were in and our descendants who will use this Brand will always be in, for with Brand Jesus there is no Out.
Friends are you listening?If you are,then know that the beauty of this Brand is that it's freely available to anyone;rich or poor,sick or healthy,young or old,weak or strong,king or pauper,sinner or saint.It transcends all boundaries and all races.It is the Only Brand that knows its users very well, in and out, and hence there are no conditions attached.
All you have to do is tick mark "I accept"in the place provided in your heart and it's yours.
Think about it brother,Think about it sister.
Imagine a Brand that you can leave as a legacy to your heirs forever.

Ash Wednesday Opening Prayer for Lent

Mighty God! Loving Father!
Through the grace of Christ,help me to give You first place in my life,always!
Through the power of the Holy Spirit,help me to identify the idols in my life and to get rid of them as fast as ever.
Thus may I become an heir to the great riches of the Kingdom,far greater than anything this world has to offer!
Through our Blessed Mother,Mary,teach me to give You first place in my life.Thus may I effectively prepare for a meaningful celebration of the sacred mysteries of the faith; that is the Passion,Death and Resurrection of Your Son,Jesus,and in time,joyfully share in the Sonship of Him Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit,now and forever!

Light of the World

Jesus LORD,You are the true Light of the World.
You do not need an external energy source to shine for the Source of Power is You.
LORD shine this infinite light on all those who are living in darkness at this very moment. Shine on those suffering from want, ill health, lack of Peace, the unemployed, those in financial problems, the homeless, the lonely and desperate, and those who lack knowing You the One True God and Savior.
LORD as I touch Your garment in faith on behalf of Your little ones, may power flow from You and heal and rebuild their lives as You did when the woman who was bleeding touched You in faith.
